Engineering Design Practice (EDP) was formed in early 2006 by Steve Rysdale with the stated objective of being a premier provider of Environmentally conscious M & E Engineering Design Services in the South West of England. Our office is based in Exeter, we currently work throughout and the whole of the UK.

During this time he has been well-respected in the built environment community and developed many close associations with key individuals, many of these associates are still suppliers or customers today.

Steve has a core of like minded individuals who are actively working with him in developing the full potential of the Engineering Design Practise.

We are an innovative engineering consultancy and design practice which specialises in low energy design and sustainable development. We believe the engineering services should fully integrate with the building to provide elegant and cost effective design solutions.

We provide an integrated, client focused project management and design service. This covers the full spectrum of feasibility reports, mechanical and electrical design, lighting simulations, building modelling and sustainable design.

We are now accredited Low Carbon Energy Consultants providing domestic and non domestic Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs), Display Energy Certificates (DECs) and SBEM Calculations.
