What is ESOS?
ESOS (Energy Saving Opportunity Scheme) is an energy assessment scheme that is mandatory for large organisations in the UK. A “large organisation” is defined as:-
An organisation with more than 250 employees, or an organisation with turnover in excess of £50m or an organisation with an annual balance sheet total of £43m.
The Environment Agency is the UK scheme administrator.
