EDP Environmental are pleased to announce that we have raised £295 for Sports relief. This charity tackles critical issues affecting people across the UK and the world.
As we have many avid sports fans in the office and we wanted to organise an event that everyone could get involved with.
So EDP Environmental hosted a five a side bubble football tournament, which saw 5 teams completing head to head which can only be said was a very comical evening, seeing players flying across the pitch. These brave football players were members of staff from Kirkham Board, Kensington Taylor, Kendall Kingscott and Sands Consultants, who brought along people to support them and this great charity.
Following the event, we headed to the local pub were EDP Environmental laid on food and drink to all and had an awards ceremony where EDP took home the trophy and were crowned the bubble football champions.
