Walk All Over Cancer

In March 2019 the staff in both our Exeter and Camberley offices were set the challenge of walking 10,000 steps every day throughout the month to raise money for Cancer Research UK. EDP donated £20 for each participating member of staff, and along with many other kind donations we have so far raised an amazing £634.00 for the worthy cause.
This charity is one that is very close to the hearts of many of us in the company and with 2 of our own staff members having undergone chemotherapy we know how vital these funds are for the charity to carry out the amazing work that they do to support individuals and their families that are affected by this disease. We feel proud to have come together as colleagues to take on this task for this amazing cause.
With early morning runs, lunch time strolls and lots of extra dog walks our teams smashed this challenge and over the 31 day period we walked a total of over 3 Million steps together. This is the equivalent of walking from our office in Exeter to our office in Camberley and back 5 times!
