“The extensive refurbishment at Lympstone Manor Hotel was a very challenging and time sensitive project, working within a dilapidated listed building that required specialist knowledge and considerable experience with building services, which were critical for the effective future operation of the hotel.

EDP Environmental delivered cost effective design solutions within the requested timeframe which helped to achieve one of the most impressive hotel openings in the United Kingdom during 2017. EDP Environmental played an important role within the large team of consultants working closely with myself and the architect alongside the Lympstone Manor project management team. We are extremely pleased with the overall contribution that they have made.”

Lympstone Manor stands in a commanding position overlooking the Exe estuary with extensive views down the Devon coast. As a designated ‘Site of Special Scientific Interest’ it is a unique and complex habitat supporting a number of wintering and migratory water birds. In summer, the estuary is a playground for sailors and kite surfers, while in winter, it belongs once again to one of the richest and most varied bird populations found anywhere in the country

All 21 bedrooms are unique and wholly individual with full climate and lighting controls designed by EDP Environmental.

The heating to the bedrooms is by means of elegant radiators with individual controls. The bathrooms marble floors are all heated by means of underfloor heating.
