SPIRE HOSPITAL – DUNEDIN
EDP Environmental were appointed by St Georges NHS Trust to prepare the RIBA Stage 4 design for the refurbishment of 4 number operating theatres within the hospital. The contractor was let as a Design and Build contract, and EDP Environmental were appointed as Contract Administrators and technical advisors on behalf of the Trust.
Our Role
The works were undertaken in a live environment, with surgical operations being undertaken in adjoining rooms, meaning noise and dust had to be kept to a minimum.
