Principal/Senior Mechanical Engineer – Exeter & Fareham Offices – About You
- You will report to the Director of Building Services, with a key liaison and supporting role to the Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health Services on projects across the United Kingdom.
- You will be responsible for tasks related to the design, development, and implementation of Mechanical Systems in buildings, ensuring functionality, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards.
- You will be part of the key design team to assist with the preparation of schemes across a wide variety of sectors.
- The role will be demanding and require a forward thinking individual who is also a self-starter, to be able to multitask and manage more than one live project at any given time.
- You will assist the Senior Management Team in the ongoing development of the business and maintain strong customer relationships with our current client base.
- You will have a good understanding of the design of Mechanical Services across a variety of building types and industry sectors, and with a reasonable understanding of Electrical Services Design.
- You will assist with the financial management of the project fee throughout the various phases of the project.
Key Skills & Qualifications
- Building Services – Mechanical Design
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Preparation of specifications
- Experience in Project Management
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Proficiency in the preparation of CAD/REVIT drawings for Mechanical Services designs.
- HNC/HND/Degree in Building Services
- Membership of CIBSE/IMechE is desirable
- Knowledge of calculation software (MEPworx) or willingness to learn
Junior Mechanical Engineer – Exeter & Fareham Offices – About You
- You will report to the Mechanical team, with a supporting role in the design of Mechanical Building Services.
- You will be part of the Mechanical design team to assist with the preparation of schemes across a wide variety of sectors.
- The role will be demanding and require a forward thinking individual who is also a self-starter to be able to multitask and manage more than one live project at any given time.
- You will have an understanding of the design of Mechanical Services.
- Knowledge of calculation software (MEPworx) or willingness to learn
